Kristal Berkbigler-Friese

My name is Kristal Berkbigler-Friese and I am currently the Emergency Management Coordinator. I have been with SADI since August 1998. I began as a social work practicum student from Murray State University and was hired as an Independent Living Specialist. I have also served as Assistive Technology Coordinator and have been involved in nearly every department and program over the years. I am married to Robert, have one daughter, Mia, and one dog, Nolan. I live on the same property I was raised on, my daughter is a third generation Oak Ridge Bluejay, and outside of SADI I enjoy watersports at the lake, travel, and watching my third generation daughter play basketball, softball and trumpet. My favorite part of SADI is the family atmosphere and our unique coordination between departments to best serve our consumers. The willingness of staff to go above and beyond their job descriptions is inspiring and I truly couldn’t ask for a better group of co-workers.
