Sara Taylor-Umfleet

My name is Sara Taylor-Umfleet and I am the Special Needs Coordinator at SADI. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I have worked in the Department of Mental Health field since 1998 which has taught me so many valuable things, especially that I love working with people, particularly those who are unique in their own way . I have had the pleasure of being part of the wonderful SADI team since 2018 and have made some wonderful relationships with not only my very special coworkers but with our friends who we serve as well. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to have a meaningful day, have special relationships and learn independence and those are just some of the things that SADI CARES Day Program provides. We are the SADI family and I am incredibly blessed to get to be part of that.
My name is Sara Taylor-Umfleet and I am the Special Needs Facilitator at SADI. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I have had the pleasure of working with some very special individuals with disabilities for twenty-one years, in various settings. I have worked for SADI since 2018 and have loved the new relationships that I have formed since joining the team. I facilitate the day program, SADI C.A.R.E.S., and have the opportunity of working with the wonderful people who attend. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to have a meaningful day. I am very passionate about what I do, and look forward to seeing our day program grow and serve more people in the future. When I am not working, I am either busy as a hair stylist or spending time with my wonderful family.
